It’s no fluke that we see a wide variety of weather on this very spooky holiday. Halloween lands right in the middle of our transition of seasons. October in general can be a roll-a-coaster of a month, and it seems like every Halloween we have one extreme to the other. In the past decade or so we have plenty of examples…
1996- We had a high temperature of 32 degrees with snow showers through out the day.
1999- High temperatures topped out near 70 degrees with plenty of sun…
2000-Another 70 degree and beautiful day
2002-A turn of events… Back to freezing temperatures…
2004- High temperatures only in the 30′s with roughly an inch of snow on the ground(mainly grass).
2006-Maybe not the coldest of holidays, yet temperatures in the 30′s with wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour where not very nice.
Anyhow…I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween…I decided to go with Michael Phelps as my costume…I just hope the get-together isn’t over with when I’m done with work.
