So Far…COLDEST October On Record

So far, 15 days into October and we are so far the coldest ever on Record.  Now we still have 15 days left so things could turn around but we are still going to see pretty cool temps through the long term, not breaking 60 across our area.  The only day we may hit normal as of now is on Monday.

On average we are 7 to 10 degrees cooler than normal across central and eastern Wisconsin.  Here are the officials so far:

Wasn’t it the driest September on record, not the warmest?

Yep thanks for the correction! Sorry!

That is ok, I just wanted to make sure I did not miss out on the only good weather of the year. Even though it still was the best stretch in September, but we sure could have used some more rain.

I also have to recheck with the NWS about the October temps of 2002, which according to our weather records was the coldest October on record.
