Cool and Wet Record Breaking October, A Recap

Wausau went down as the 8th coolest and 8th wettest(5.15″) ever recorded.  I think if we had not had a few warm spells towards the end we would have been higher up on the list for the coolest. 

 Other notable cities records: 

Stevens Point, Marshfield and Clintonville were the 4th coolest

Wisc Rapids 6th coolest

Rhinelander 7th coolest 

Marshfield wettest ( 6.11″)

Clintonville 2nd wettest (5.55″)

Stevens Point 3rd wettest (6.10″)

Wisc Rapids 6th wettest (5.67″)

Rhinelander 7th wettest (4.75″)

Wausau climate:

Average Max was  48.1, Normal is 56.7      -8.6

Average Min was 35.1, Normal 37.3      -2.2

Highest was 64 on the 19th and 30th

Coldest was 25 on the 11th

5.15″ of Rain, Normal is 2.63″   +2.52″

1.4″ of Snow, Normal is 1.0″   +0.4″

Out of 31 days, 21 we saw some sort of precip. 

Lets see what November brings!
